Did you know that IDEA, the International Health and Fitness organization released a statistic that found 75% of people who exercise are not getting the results they want? But out of the 25% of people who are getting results, 90% of them are working with a personal trainer.

Personal training is the best way to reach your fitness goals. Working out one-on-one with a personal trainer is the fun way to get faster results. Not only will this professional provide you with the extra motivation you need reach your fitness goals more quickly, he or she will also ensure that you're using the proper form and exercising safely.

After assessing your fitness goals and developing a personalized exercise program, your trainer will personally monitor your workouts, providing regular guidance and motivation in a one-on-one setting.

Personal training at L.A.C. is available in many different formats. We offer standard one on one training to partner and group training. Sessions can also be broken up into different time blocks to extend the time your training package lasts.

Types of Training

One-on-One Training

This is the most focused and demanding training available. All your trainer's attention will be focused on your needs and goals. Work on a program developed by you and your trainer to reach your desired results. Standard one-on-one training can be purchased by the session or in packages. The cost per session will decrease when purchased in a package. Training can be done in 60- or 30-minute sessions.

Partner Training

Partner training is similar to one-on-one training, but you have one other person with you during your training time. This is usually a friend or loved one who can keep you motivated and accountable with your training – same as you will do for them. The advantage to this training is a discounted rate per hour of training while still having the focus of your trainer and your goals.

Group Training

Group training takes partner training a step further by putting you with a trainer in a group of three or more. Groups work together on common goals during a preset reoccurring appointment time. This is the most economical way to get started with training in a fun active setting.

Rates and Availability

Individual and group personal training is available. We have a variety of trainers available to fit your needs and schedules. We offer one time sessions to packages as large as 30 one hour or 60 half hour sessions. Personal training sessions are available in increments of 30 and 60 minutes. Flexibility is a key to what makes this program unique and successful for you.

Rates range from $52 to $70 per hour, depending on the personal trainer and the type of package you choose.

Our Personal Training Staff

All L.A.C. trainers come to us with training experience and are required to have a national certification. They are great trainers dedicated to healthy lifestyles. We currently have seven trainers on staff with 32 combined years of training experience. Out of this experience, 25 years is here at L.A.C. Our trainers are long term and are dedicated to building long term relationships with members and clients. These familiar faces will be here to help answer all you fitness questions.

Fitness Assessment

For a minimal fee L.A.C. offers body composition testing on a computerized fitness system. Here we will be able to test your percentage of body fat in comparison to your lean body mass. We will also test strength, flexibility, cardio endurance and other health measurements. You will receive a print out of your current results. This is a great tool for comparison testing as you work through a fitness program.
